Heartfelt & Ridiculous

I sort of enjoy spending every spare minute out observing and photographing my fellow human beings on the streets of London or New York, but it’s every bit as frustrating as it is illuminating. When you’re caught right in the middle of a fight between warring street performers and you realise you’re out of film as the silver painted statue man lands a punch on the mime artist. Or when you see the hard as nails bouncer in tears watching something on his phone, but a bus blocks your shot.

There are no rules, it’s instinctive and it keeps life interesting, the resulting images are sometimes heartfelt, sometimes ridiculous, sometimes half baked and very occasionally more than I could have ever imagined.
